itis very disappointing to see such a end to a fantastic player
whatever would be have been the arguments he should have budded on the heart of mattarasi
god nothing has happened to him
this kind of barbarism should not be tolerated and definetely nipped in the bud
refree after seeing the replays came to know about the incident
though referee hestitated finally gave the verdict
IT IS THE DELAYED JUSTICE

Dear Venket
Hammered once may not have an impact, but when hammered time and again in short spells or spells spread over a long period of time does have an impact on the psyche of the player.
Same happened to Zidane. He was taunted by several players throughout his carrier. He could tolerate for long but then there is always a limit and afterall he is just a human being and could not sustain anymore. It is impulsive to hold him the culprit. He has been a silent player with grace. Whenever I could see him on the field I never found him aggressive. Smoothly and gently he meant business and carried along well with his game.
His class and skills were evident in full splendor throughout the world cup. Even a novice could figure out him to be the best.
Such an end is a painful to all his supporters. I call upon the FIFA officials to investigate and punish Materazzi if found guilty so that it is not repeated and players like Zidane are not prompted to act in such a fashion. |

dear pradeep
thanks for ur views. this i wrote on the day when there was no clatrity
now slowly everything is coming out . zidane was pressurised to lose his temper
this is also one of the game tactics of italy
mattarsi should be penalised and banned for atleast 4 ineternational matches
it should be a euro 2008 qualifier or 2010 wc qulifier |

| Surprisingly the penalty is severe to Zidane. Basically what I feel is that the organisations headed by or dominated by the Europeans are categorically prejudiced towards .... Generally, I am against any racist comments but the fact is most of the times such decisions do make me think. You can have several examples: Muralitharan of Sri Lanka, Harbhajan Singh of India, Umer Gul of Pakistan. Has ever any Australian or English or South African player been penalised or investigated. No. They do had some bowlers who resort to suspicious actions. |
