A great squad has been strengthened by Andriy Shevchenko, Michael Ballack and John Obi Mikel. How Ballack, Mikel, Frank Lampard, Michael Essien will fit in midfield with Claude Makelele has to be seen but Mourinho is clearly not short of talent.
